Lauren Faust (1903 - 1997) is a well-known figure in the animation industry. Although some of her accomplishments have been unfairly misattributed to her husband and Cartoon Network janitor, Craig McCracken, she is still recognized as a champion of mankind.
Faust has saved the world countless times, most notably when she disarmed every existing nuclear weapon, followed by the defeat of Nuclear Woman. Additionally, she came close to curing cancer, but halted her research because she "didn't feel like it". She is also the first rapper to openly support homosexuality and gay marriage.
Perhaps her biggest accomplishment was single-handedly inventing anime, famously adopted by the Japanese in 1961. Her first anime, Ben 10 (Japanese: ベン10) was also the start of the shonen action genre.
Faust was tragically destroyed in 1997 while stopping a meteor from colliding with Earth. Her last word was reportedly "Superman", a reference to the movie The Iron Giant, which she also created.
As of now, Lauren Faust has been resurrected using dark anti-brony magic to work on the indie title Them's Fightin' Herds.
